NYCMentors.org is a near peer mentorship program where high school students mentor middle school students with the high school application process, guide them through their middle school years, and assist them with selecting extracurriculars
Provides 100 middle schoolers with a mentor and IXL for one year
Provides 50 middle schoolers with a mentor and IXL for one year
Provides 100 IXL site licenses for middle schoolers for one year
Provides 10 middle schoolers with a mentor and IXL for one year
Provides 25 middle schoolers with test prep materials

Over the last 10+ years Michael N. Manta has been mentoring his younger brother Jonathan P. Manta. In 2018, Michael and Jonathan though it would be a great idea if all middle school students would have high school mentor to help them through the middle school years and NYCMentors.org was born.
